Volunteer opportunities are currently on hold and will resume after the COVID-19 Pandemic, Thank you for your support and your understanding during these trying times.

We engage the help of individuals and groups throughout the year in many different capacities. Our residents relish forming new relationships with people like yourself who come regularly, or for a specific event or occasion. We realize great value of connection of people living in community has to be intentional as social isolation is an emerging issue across generations.

Volunteer Request List

The following is a list of our current volunteer needs. While these represent our immediate opportunities, we are always interested in working with volunteers to create dynamic new resident programs based on their abilities and availability. Tuesday afternoons
Volunteers will play dominoes with residents and assist them in understanding game play


Wednesday mornings
Volunteers will assist hearing-impaired and cognitively-challenged residents complete their game cards, assist Program Director with the distribution of prizes and collection of materials at the conclusion of the game.


Monday mornings
Volunteer will assist residents during weekly trips to Walmart and Dollar Tree. Duties primarily consist of helping keep track of residents’ whereabouts in store as they shop independently, assisting with checkout/carrying of bags and contributing to the safe boarding of bus.


Volunteer will assist residents during weekly outings to various locations. Duties primarily consist of accompanying residents for companionship and safety, including transportation and destination.
